Refund & Warranty Policy

At Palmetto Tech Pros, we are committed to providing high-quality technology services and customer satisfaction. Please review our Refund & Warranty Policy below to understand our terms for service refunds, hardware warranties, and customer responsibilities.

Refund Policy

Services Fees

  • All payments for services are non-refundable once the service has been completed.

  • If a service cannot be completed due to an issue on our end, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.

  • Dissatisfaction with a completed service that meets the agreed-upon scope does not qualify for a refund.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • No-shows or late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Hardware Purchases & Custom Builds

  • Custom-built PCs & Special Orders

    • Once parts have been purchased for a custom PC build, the sale is final and non-refundable.

    • Manufacturer warranties apply to defective components (see Section 2).

  • Other Hardware Sales

    • Any hardware purchased through Palmetto Tech Pros is subject to the manufacturer’s return and warranty policies.

    • We do not accept returns or refunds for hardware unless it is defective and covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Policy

Service Warranty

  • We stand behind our work and offer a 30-day service warranty on repairs and installations.

  • If an issue arises due to our service within the warranty period, we will fix it at no additional cost.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    • Problems caused by user error, software changes, or third-party interference.

    • Issues unrelated to the original service provided.

    • Damage caused by accidental drops, spills, power surges, or misuse.

Hardware Warranty

  • Hardware components and devices purchased through Palmetto Tech Pros are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • If a hardware failure occurs within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will assist you in filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer.

  • We do not provide direct replacements or refunds for manufacturer-covered items.

Custom-Built Gaming PC's

  • Warranty on Assembly: We guarantee our custom PC assembly for 30 days. If there is an issue with the build, we will troubleshoot and repair it free of charge.

  • Component Warranties: Each part (CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, etc.) is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and claims must be filed directly with them.

  • Overclocking & Modifications: Any overclocking, tampering, or modifications to the system void our service warranty.

Limitation of Liability

Palmetto Tech Pros is not responsible for:

  • Data Loss: Customers are responsible for backing up their data before any repair, installation, or service. We do not guarantee data recovery.

  • Third-Party Software & Hardware Issues: We are not liable for malfunctions or failures caused by third-party software, firmware updates, or hardware defects.

  • Unforeseen Damages: Any damages resulting from improper usage, electrical issues, or modifications made after service are the customer’s responsibility.

No Guarantees for Third-Party Services

Palmetto Tech Pros may recommend or install third-party software or hardware as part of a service. We do not guarantee the performance, security, or compatibility of third-party products.

Changes to Policy

Palmetto Tech Pros reserves the right to modify this Refund & Warranty Policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
